This album takes place after the assassination attempt of which Bob Marley was a victim in Kingston. So we can understand that lyrics are less committed, in the place were themes of love and pleasure are emphasised (Love Is this, Sun is Shining). Marley seems to tell us that the millitantism is not everything in life and it is time to testify that
the good life is not forbidden even to Rastas.
